The Kende Trio is pleased to collaborate with Katie Fisher, a highly accomplished Broadway singer and actor whose vocal stylings and skills span classical opera to jazz, contemporary pop, old standards and of course Broadway favorites. Her multi-faceted voice can accommodate all of your musical needs.


Kate Fisher is a highly acclaimed Broadway actress and singer whose illustrious career has spanned from concert halls, to opera stages to the Great White Way. Most notably, she starred as Cosette in Les Miserables both on Broadway and with its National Tour. She has sung at The Kennedy Center, Chicago’s Ravinia Festival and Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center. Recently Kate received rave accolades for her origination of the role of Jo March in the First National Tour of the musical Little Women, starring opposite Maureen McGovern. She has also shared the stage with international star Lea Salonga. Her favorite regional roles include: Eliza Doolittle, My Fair Lady; Sarah Brown, Guys and Dolls; Marian Paroo, The Music Man; Maria Von Trapp, The Sound of Music; Fiona MacClaren, Brigadoon; Emma Carew, Jekyll and Hyde; Bathsheba Everdene, Far From the Madding Crowd and Belle, Beauty and the Beast. Kate can be heard as the voice of Queen Marissa in the animated film Barbie The Island Princess. Miss Fisher has appeared in numerous national commercials. Kate is a Northwestern University graduate, grew up in beautiful Denver, CO and currently resides in New York City.
